Chad has limited knowledge of its groundwater and surface water resources. The country is exposed to the effects of climate change, the deteriorating security situation and strong demographic growth. The combination of these effects increases the vulnerability of the populations and hinders the socio-economic development of the country.<\/p>\n

The ResEau programme, designed in the framework of bilateral cooperation with Switzerland, aims to improve the country’s resilience to the effects of climate change through active management of its water resources.<\/p>\n
