Purpose

This panel enables to modify some general processing parameters.

Parameters - General parameters

OpenCL Platform Name

The list of OpenCL platforms available for parallel computing. Select which platform to use for OpenCL computing with SARscape. Please refer to the SARscape_OpenCL_Installation.pdf document for more details.

OpenCL Device Name

The list of OpenCL devices supported by the selected OpenCL platform. Select which device to use for OpenCL computing with SARscape. Please refer to the SARscape_OpenCL_Installation.pdf document for more details.

Maximum available memory size in (GB)

This parameter tells how much memory a SARscape processing is allowed to use. This value is more a hint to SARscape and not 100% accurate. If a CPU-only OpenCL runtime is selected, the amount of system memory consumed by the runtime is not affected by this parameter.

Maximum iterations for PFA geocoding

This parameter controls the maximum number of iterations in the geocoding procedure of each image point.

Trace Level

The parameter controls the extent of the information written into the SARscape trace file. A low number allows more information to be written, a higher the opposite.

Byte Order for Import

By setting the relevant flag the data are imported or transformed using the specified byte order.

MSBF

The output byte order is Motorola (or Big Endian) binary type.

LSBF

The output byte order is Intel (or Little Endian) binary type.

Delete Temporary Files

By setting this flag the temporary files are removed at the process completion.

Generate Quick Look

By setting this flag the output file is generated also in Tiff or PNG format. These files are intended essentially for visualisation purposes. The extension "_ql" is automatically added to the output file name. PNG allows .kml files with transparent dummy values.

Enable Completed Panel

By setting this flag to True (default selection) the Completed panel is displayed once the process is completed.

Insert geo points info in ENVI header

By setting this flag to True (default selection) geo points ENVI parameters are included in the header file. Please, consider that if the image that include this information in the header file is used as input file in the Generate Ground Control Points tool, the image will be considered as a geocoded image and not as a slant range image.  For this reason, coordinates are considered as Lat/Lon insead of image coordinates.

Generate Batch save during Workflow execution

By setting this flag to True (default selection) a batch file that describes all the steps in the workflow is updated. The file name is   "Batch file name"+"_wf".

Saturation Default

The default saturation value for the TIFF format.

Quick Look Format

Select the format of the Quick Look (TIFF or PNG). The Generate Quick Look flag must be set to TRUE.

Date String prefix in dbf file

The prefix 'D' or 'D_' can be specified for the date in the dbf file.

Automatic Look Computation

The number of looks will be computed automatically.

Dummy Removal

By setting this flag the output geocoded files, generated in the Geocoding and Radiometric Calibration, Phase to Displacement Conversion (Interferometry and ScanSAR Interferometry modules) and Phase to Height Conversion (Interferometry and ScanSAR Interferometry modules), will be automatically resized in order to remove the dummy area exceeding the frame border.

Load Images

By setting this flag the output file (or files in case of a list) is automatically loaded in ENVI. In case of a large lists of files and/or in case of large acquisitions, it is convenient to disable this flag in order to avoid the loading of a large amount of data in ENVI(e.g. after the import of several acquisitions). Note: this flag has no influence on process run from the batch browser (where no data is automatically loaded at any time).

Quick Look Format

Select the format of the Quick Look (TIFF or PNG). The Generate Quick Look flag must be set to TRUE.

General Functions

Load

It allows loading an .xml, .sml or .txt file where SARscape common Preferences where previously saved.

Save

It allows saving SARscape common Preferences for a future processing using the same preferences characteristics.
