        • ECMWF Era5 Download: Possibility to query and download meteorological data provided by the European Center Medium Weather Forecast (ECMWF) through the ''ERA5'' dataset.
        • GACOS: Possibility to import Generic Atmospheric Correction Online (GACOS) data for InSAR and Interferometric Stacking processing.
        • DEM extraction with reference height: Possibility to extract the extracts the ellipsoidal elevation of an image.
        • Intensity Single Image Workflow: Possibility to get a geocoded filtered intensity image in a single iteration.
        • Enhanced-DPSVI: Possibility to compute an Enhanced Dual Polarization SAR Vegetation Index (EDPSVI) using Co-Pol coherence and Dual Pol intensity data.
        • Coherence CCD Time Line & PWR: Possibility to generate a geocoded power and coherence images in a single iteration.
        • Coastline Extraction: Possibility to extracts a series of shape files containing the coastline detected in the input images, grouped by tide height.
        • Time Series Classification: Possibility to classify the displacement time series using external temporal phenomenological data or analytical displacement models.
        • Generate Annotations Raster: Possibility to create annotations in ENVI View of geocoded files.
        • Generate Annotations Ships: Possibility to associate a name to each detected target.
        • Shape Tiler: Possibility to cut one or more shapefiles into tiles of regular size and alignment.
        • Coherence Matrix Viewer: Possibility to represent the coherence images in a matrix format where rows and columns represent the dates considered for the coherence computation.
        • Mosaic Sentinel-1: Possibility to mosaick Sentinel-1 different frames that cover the same AOI on different dates.
        • Preferences common - Annotations: Possibility to enables or disable the automatic generation of the annotations in ENVI View of geocoded files derived from the following tools: Geocoding and Radiometric Calibration, Phase to Height Conversion and Geocoding, Phase to Displacement, Conversion and Geocoding, SBAS – Geocoding, PS – Geocoding, Ship Detection SAR and AIS Matching.

Improvements

        • Sentinel-1: Generation of a progress file and possibility to import Sentinel 1 data from a zip file.
        • RCM: Possibility to import SLC Spotlight data.
        • Ship Detection: Compensation of the doppler effect to improve the matching between AIS signal and the detected radar target.
        • Ship Detection: The identified ships are classified with a neural network trained on Sentinel 1 data in case the input image is in polarized VV with a resolution of 10 meters (pixel spacing in range and azimuth).
        • Multilooking: Multilooking option available for Ground Range data.
        • Single Image Filtering: Automatic ENL (Equivalent Number of Looks) calculation and artifacts removal improvement (Lee and Refinement Lee).
        • Gamma and Gaussian Filtering: Automatic ENL (Equivalent Number of Looks) calculation.
        • Interferometric Multilooking: Multilooking option available for all the interferometric output files.
        • Palsar2 Spotlight Interferometry: The ALOS Palsar2 spotlight data can now be used for interferometric purposes.
        • Atmospheric Phase Delay Correction: Atmospherical pattern removal through the usage of external data (GACOS) and Topography related atmospherical pattern removal based on unwrapped interferograms.
        • PS: Atmospherical pattern removal through the usage of external data. Faster interferometry, first inversion, and second inversion.
        • SBAS: Automatic refinement and reflattening, atmospherical pattern removal through the usage of external data, topography related atmospherical pattern removal based on unwrapped interferograms, mask areas in layover shadowing from interferograms, other masks available to remove low coherence areas, faster refinement and interferometry.
        • Point Cloud DEM Fusion: Point Cloud Dem Fusion and gridding renewal.
        • Cluster: Cluster diagnostics now also includes a simple benchmark to automatically check storage and computational performance on the available processing nodes.
        • Help: The organization of the Import Data section has been improved for a better user experience.

New Operating System

        • SARscape 5.6.2 is supported on Windows 11 64-bit.
Please note: SARscape 5.6.2 requires ENVI version 5.5.3 or higher. Annotations can be displayed only with ENVI 5.6.1 or higher.
