What's new

The newest release of SARscape - version 5.6.0 - introduces several new features and algorithmic improvements. The key features among the new enhancements are:

New features:

        • Drag and drop interface
        • Capella preliminary support slant-plane geometry
        • RCM preliminary support:import of the Radarsat Constellation Mission slc and grd data
        • CSG preliminary support:import of the CosmoSky-Med SCS,DGM,GEC data
        • Polar Format support: SICD Polar format algorithm (PFA)
        • Sentinel-2 download: new single panel
        • Sentinel Multidownload: query and download Sentinel data exploiting both the ESA scientific Hub and the Alaska SAR Facility
        • Tide Downloader: tide estimates downloading for any location in the world
        • Ship Statistics: mothly average on time series of results
        • Layover and Shadow Mask: specific panel (in Geocoding and Radiometric Calibration is the previous versions)
        • Non Local InSAR Filtering: flattened interferogram filtering to reduce phase noise and worflow improvements
        • Continuos Tomography: tomographic processing of SAR data

Please note: SARscape 5.6.0 requires ENVI version 5.5.3 or higher.

End-of-Life (EOL) announcement

With SARscape 5.6.0 SARscape for ENVI Classic and the ACE DEM Extraction reached the end-of-life.

With the next SARscape sub-release, the following tools will reach the end-of-life:
    • ESA SciHub Sentinel Download and ASF Sentinel Download, which are both going to be included in the Multidownload Sentinel;
    • GTOPO30DEM Extraction.
